I’m Stuck !!!
I knew it! Every time I get down to 180 lbs I get stuck. I tell myself its not fair!!!! I haven’t eaten any of the things I love like big macs and french fries and chocolate donuts all week and not even a single pound? Come on now how can that be fair! And I’m getting more exercise and drinking my water, and not even one tiny pound not even a half of pound. What to do now??????? Well I’m going to take one of my buddies good advise and go back and read all my old post, I have come toooo far to give up now. What had me so motivated a month ago when I lost 15 lbs ? I cant remember, but I’m going back down memory lane and find that stronger me who was shouting I WANT TO BE HEALTHY. Today I’m just whimpering iwannadonut.

My niece used to work in a donut shop , and the boss would make them come to work when they were really sick, and they would be coughing and sneezing all over the donuts. It was soooo disgusting. You can wash an apple , but you can’t wash a donut. Hope the feeling has passed. I know you won’t give in !

Don’t worry Dee, you have managed to lose all that weight already, you can’t give up now! I’m sure you will make it, if you make it then I can make it too! Your starting weight is same as mine now, hopely I’ll be down to 180 lbs soon too

I love how you are trying to figure this out and not just give up. That is great. Try changing up your workout a bit. Do something different every other day and increase the intensity. And write down everything you eat. I just heard on TV the other day that every bite we spontaneously put in our mouth (just not thinking about it, like standing over the stove and tasting) is an average of 25 calories. So if we do that four times in a day then that is an extra 100 calories we consumed and not take accountability for. I just wanted to pass this along in the hopes it might help. You will get past 180. I know you can do it!

no your not stuck, not really, it will shift soon, just don’t give up and don’t quit, I find if I increase my calories it will shift,maybe its worth a try?

yeah I agree with rebecca, I read somewhere that it is best to mix up the exercise you do at least every couple of months because you will see the effects more.
also as hard as it is try not to focus on the weight so much for now, the fact is you are eating much healthier than you used to and are regularly exercising therefore you are becoming a healthy person regardless of if you see the scales moving or not.
I bet it will suddenly catch up with you lol. keep going for it dee! x
Yes, agree, read those old blogs, but keep in mind that what motivated you before, may not motivate you NOW, so look for another wagon, so to speak, a different, a new motivation if you will!! Hang in there!! Where there’s a will, there’s a way…cheesy, I know, but whatever you do, you cannot give up, it’s not an OPTION!! Hang in there and let show the 80’s who is boss!
My whimpering is more basic.. it goes like this… I just wanna see my toes!!!
Think of the inches you are losing even though it may not show it on the scale. You are doing so great, keep it up!
don’t be discouraged!!! 15 lbs is a lot of weight to loose in a month!! you are on the right track keep it up!!!
girl you are doing an AMAZING job…dont be discouraged…you are not “stuck” you can lose more…are you drinking lots and lots of water? are you eating lots and lots of fresh fruits and veggies? fiber intake up to 35 grams daily? try adding a few minutes onto your workout each day that you exercise….try adding something new…like a little higher stepping or something….but, dont get discouraged…that might be why you always get stuck at this weight…just look at it as a brand new 180….hey. 180..your doing a 180 arent you?? turning your life completely around….you will be at 179 before you know it…. you will see…
Dee keep up the good work, I’m proud of you! We all have those days where we’re feeling down on our journey..but that’s exactly what it is, a journey. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end and nobody said it would be easy but it will be worth it. I think you should make a “my wants” list like I did..you can look back on it and remember why you are doing this..you can modify it as time goes on and your goals become closer.
And by the way…one donut is NOT the end of the world!! Maybe buy one and only eat half, throw away the other half so you aren’t tempted.
